How to get API keys (permissions)
- Open the Trading 212 app (supported regions) → API / developer keys.
- Turn ON: Account data, Portfolio.
- Optional: History, Metadata, Pies – Read, Orders – Read (not required for the charts today).
- Leave OFF: Orders – Execute, Pies – Write. Safer if a key ever leaks — and we never place trades anyway.
- Generate key, copy key + secret (secret is shown once).
- Prefer Demo while testing. Avoid IP allowlists for this web tool.
